As musicians sometimes we ask ourselves why is it important to practice? There is many reasons to practice but the most obvious one is to be ready. You never know when an opportunity will present itself. All we can do is be ready. Like the law of attraction, wish, intend then receive.
I had the opportunity to fill in on a gig over the weekend. I’d never met or played with these musicians before. There were high expectations and I needed to deliver. I showed up with a good attitude and most importantly prepared. We pulled the show off and had a blast doing it. Below is a short clip from the show.
